Myth of POSH ACT,2013

  • Myth 1:

    POSH law is to protect only women employees from sexual harassment at the workplace. So, organizations cannot make any provisions for men or third gender to protect from sexual harassment.

  • Myth 2:

    POSH law does not apply to organizations where women employees are not working.

  • Myth 3:

    There are no consequences for false sexual harassment complaints.

  • Myth 4:

    POSH law does not apply when working from home or when working remotely.

  • Myth 5:

    Government issues any certificate or authorization to any individual to conduct the POSH ACT training.
